Dietetics is the science of applying nutrition principles to diet and health. Dietitians, or Registered Dietitian (RDs), use evidence-based knowledge to promote a healthily lifestyle, disease prevention, nutritional education, and ensuring food safety and sustainability.

Karen Ashley graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology at the University of Waterloo and Masters of Professional Kinesiology at the University of Toronto. After graduation, Karen worked for years in the rehabilitation field and gained experience working with athletes, children, special populations, and general population. Karen has accreditation with the College of Kinesiologists of Ontario.

Karen strives to help individuals meet their lifestyle goals through the promotion of exercise to enhance movement and performance. As a certified Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) and Humber College graduate, Shavonte has gained the knowledge and experience to assist patients achieve their health and fitness goals.

He specializes in sports therapy with special interest in basketball, track & field, and soccer. Shavonte beliefs in merging his athletic background with his understanding of human anatomy and physiology into fun and engaging active sessions with patients

Sara Parichkova, MAN, RD, is a Registered Dietitian with a passion for food and a love for sharing her nutrition expertise. With 12 years of experience, she helps individuals achieve their unique health and nutrition goals in a supportive, non-judgmental environment. Her specialties include weight management, gastrointestinal disorders, and chronic disease prevention and management.

Sara earned her Master’s degree in Applied Nutrition from the University of Guelph and holds certificates in sports nutrition physiology, behavior change counseling (Dietitians of Canada), and diabetes education (The Michener Institute). In her free time, Sara enjoys running on trails, pursuing her marathon goals, and spending time with her two young children.
